The draft is done — teams are set. First tee Thursday, Oct 1 at 9:04 AM ET at Arthur Hills.
Ryder-Cup-style team match play. Two sides, four rounds, three points per match — front nine, back nine, and the full eighteen.
$200 per player, due to Kyle by Wednesday night.
The winning team splits it — $200 per player.
Every match is worth 3 points across the four rounds.
First side to 23 wins the cup outright.
The BDC's green jacket. It goes to the individual points leader on the winning team. If that man is also the winning captain, he still takes the jacket — and the next-highest scorer on either team earns a captaincy the following year.
Most points on the winning team takes the jacket. In the 2v2 rounds both partners bank the pair’s full points; singles count once. Live from the sheet.
Race starts Thursday.
Five days on Hilton Head, four match-play rounds across three Palmetto Dunes courses, closing with Saturday singles.
Arrive, check in at the villas, loosen up. $200 buy-in due to Kyle tonight.
9:04 AM · Each man plays his own ball; best net score wins the hole. · Blue/White tees
7:58 AM · Both tee off, pick the drive, then alternate in. Each drive used 3× per nine. · White tees
1:44 PM · Both hit, play the better ball. The toughest track on the property, under the afternoon sun. · White tees
8:34 AM · Head-to-head match play. Teammates ride together, both captains in the final group. The Teal Jacket is decided. · Blue tees
Settle up, hand off the jacket, and start the countdown to next year.
Tees: Thursday plays the Blue/White combo at Arthur Hills; Friday’s two rounds are off the Whites (Robert Trent Jones, then Fazio); Saturday’s singles move back to the Blues at Robert Trent Jones. Cart pairings for Saturday are a snake draft — teammates ride together, both captains anchor the final group.
Everyone's under one roof at Palmetto Dunes — steps from the Fazio and RTJ courses.
Three championship layouts across four rounds — three of the game's great architects, with the Robert Trent Jones signature played twice from different tees.
Round 1 · Best Ball · Blue/White tees
Rolling dunes, tumbling fairways, and elevation you don't expect on the Lowcountry — a scenic, playable opener with teeth around the greens.
Round 2 · Alt Shot · White tees
The resort's original and its signature — a lagoon-laced layout with the only true oceanfront hole on the island at the par-5 10th. Round 2 plays it from the Whites for alternate shot.
Round 3 · Scramble · White tees
The stern one. A par-70 with only two par 5s and a fistful of long par 4s — still the true test of the week, even from the Whites.
Round 4 · Singles · Blue tees
Back to the signature for Saturday's singles — stretched to the Blues, where the Teal Jacket is decided in the final group.
